Desperate to save his loved ones, Reiner made a pact with a powerful demon, sacrificing his own soul in exchange for the strength to defeat the demons. The demon granted his wish, but at a great cost. Reiner was transformed into Rezo, der Zerstörer, a vessel of destruction and chaos.
