The Veil of the Unraveled is known as a powerful artifact said to have been created by a rogue mage seeking to glimpse the myriad possibilities of fate. A flowing cloak made of a shimmering, ever-changing fabric that seems to pulse with colors of the rainbow. It appears to have threads woven from shadows, creating the illusion of movement even when still. Pulled from the winds of time, it exudes an aura of chaotic energy that dances around it.
In its early days, the veil was worn by Aeloria, a mage consumed by her quest for power. Her attempts to harness its energy caused distortions in reality, leading to catastrophic events known as the Shattered Hour, where time flowed erratically. The veil still holds traces of her essence, and those who wear it feel her lingering desperation, made tangible through the fabric's incessant shifting.
