With a reputation for striking fear into the hearts of his enemies, he once commanded legions of lesser undead and haunted the battlefields with an iron grip. He delights in the suffering of the living, drawing energy from their despair to strengthen his dark magic. Many tales speak of Walthragh encountering those stubborn enough to confront him and turning them into eternal servants as punishment for their courage.
Walthragh towers over mortals with a grotesquely twisted form, his skin a pale, mottled gray that seems to glisten unnaturally. His left arm is a skeletal appendage, decorated with the tattoos of long-forgotten runes that pulse with a blueish cold light, contrasting against the shadows that cling to his form. Jagged metal plates, rusted and spiked, cover his chest and shoulders, while a tattered black cloak billows behind him as if animated by the whispers of the damned. His eyes, sunken and glowing crimson, reflect the eternal anguish of a soul eternally bound to darkness, while thin strands of black hair hang limply around his angular, menacing features. A chilling aura surrounds him, muffling sounds in his immediate vicinity as if the very air fears his presence.
Bound by horror and betrayal, Walthragh was once a soldier in the wars of the living, a half-orc who sought acceptance in a world that detested him. Betrayed and murdered by his own kin, he found himself resurrected by a dark force intent on feeding on his wrath. Now, he wanders a path of vengeance, haunted by visions of his past life, tormented by a lingering desire for belonging. Deep down, a flicker of the confused boy remains, hidden beneath layers of rage, yet he is too consumed by darkness to seek redemption or solace.
