The Terraquill is known to traverse the deep forests of Etholian, its elongated form providing swift access through densely wooded areas. Locals believe that this creature holds the essence of the earth's energies, and sightings are often accompanied by the sound of a distant rumble, as if a train is approaching.
The Terraquill resembles a massive, undulating serpent intertwined with vines and grasses, its body adorned with glistening earth-toned scales. Along its elongated form, it has steam-like wisps emanating from its head, which resembles a grand, ornamental train engine, complete with wheels made of petrified wood. Faint green luminescent markings run along its side, creating a mesmerizing glow at night.
The Terraquill was once a legendary creation, said to have been brought to life by an ancient earth druid seeking to connect the land more deeply with its inhabitants. It is said that the creature carries with it the memories of the forest, revealing glimpses of the past to those worthy enough to earn its trust. It roams eternally, seeking to protect the sanctity of the forests from encroachment.
